Inauguration of Club & Ramp Walk Event

Event Report: Women of Worth (WoW) Club Inauguration – 17th December 2024

The CSE-Data Science Department of PSCMRCET successfully inaugurated the Women of Worth (WoW) club for female students.

The event was graced by Ms. Chandini Chandana Akula, Vice Chairwoman of CII IWN Andhra Pradesh and Co-founder of Avera AI Mobility, who commended the initiative and motivated participants with her insights into leadership and innovation.

Dr. Akbar emphasized the WoW Club’s mission to support women in academics, leadership, and technology. The event was smoothly coordinated by Mrs. Navya Sree and Ms. M.D. Bushra, with support from faculty members: Mr. Suresh, Ms. Fathima, and Ms. Swapna.

The chief guest, Ms. Chandana, inaugurated the club by lighting the ceremonial lamp and releasing the WoW Club poster. Her keynote highlighted the importance of resilience, continuous learning, and networking for women in tech.

The club's first event was a ramp walk competition celebrating confidence and charisma. Titles included Miss Data Science, Miss Elegance, and Miss Women Leader.

This initiative reflects PSCMRCET’s commitment to holistic development, focusing not only on academic excellence but also on leadership and mental well-being.
